Feeding with Bassline 35

La 35ème édition de Feeding with Bassline aura lieu a La Rumeur ! Au programme pour cette édition; deux soirées sur un week-end, les 7 et 8 décembre prochain. une nouvelle fois, le prix d'entrée est libre, et la somme récoltée sera reversée à l'association Diali Gari.

L'association partenaire:

Diali Gari à été créée l'année dernire par six étudiantes en psychomotricité dans le but de promouvoir la psychomotricité à l'international mais également d'apporter une aide financière, humaine et matérielle à une école et à un hôpital pédiatrique dans une village au Sénégal.


Projet Feeding With Bassline :

Le Reggae a toujours été, est et restera une musique militante, appelant ses auditeurs au respect d’autrui, à la tolérance et à l’entraide entre chaque être humain. Pour passer de la parole aux actes, le projet Feeding With Bassline propose à son public de participer activement à la solidarité locale par le biais de collectes de nourriture redistribuée à des associations caritatives.

Association Emana Sound :

Fondée en 2012 suite au projet « Bunker Sound System », l’association Emana Sound (60 membres depuis sa création) est un collectif actif et militant du milieu Sound System à Lille.
Fédéré autour des valeurs d’unité et de solidarité c’est tout naturellement qu’Emana Sound traduit ces notions de façon très concrète par l’organisation des événements Feeding With Bassline, les productions du label vinyle Emana Sound Records, la gestion du site internetemanasound.com, la réalisation du projet «on sort utile», et la mise en place du projet High Way Productions..
Accompagnée par divers chanteurs et musiciens sur ses sélections évoluant du Roots au Stepper, l’association entreprend en 2013 la construction d’un petit Sound System (2 scoops/6Kw) qui ne cesse d’évoluer depuis.
De nombreux autres projets sont encore dans les cartons et seront dévoilés dès que possible !

Jah Light

Fondé à Roubaix en 1991 par Ras T. & Jahknow et ce juste après leurs débuts sur les ondes avec l'émission "Music From Jamaica" (1991-2006), le Jah Light Hi-Fi est l'un des plus anciens sound-systems du Nord de la France. Jouant tous styles, du ska aux dernières sorties en passant par les remixes, dubplates et autres specials, le sound n'a que pour objectif de satisfaire le public au grès de leurs sélections qui plairont aux novices comme aux connaisseurs.
Etant un sound local, le crew à surtout joué sur la région lilloise (Maquis Chalice, Détour, Djoloff, Daara-J, Arche I Roots, Stax'O'Soul, Condition Publique, Aéronef, Malterie, La Boîte à Musique, etc...) et en Belgique voisine (Tournai, Mouscron, Anvers, Gand, etc...) en partageant l'affiche avec des sounds locaux (Swing-A-Ling, Chalice, Soul Iration, Try Love, Irie Sound, +2 Vibes, Holy Night, Rootikal Attack -ex High Way- , Emana Sound entres autres) comme nationaux ou internationaux (King Dragon, Soul Stereo, Runn Sound, Civalizee, Downbeat The Ruler, etc..).
L'équipe a évolué au fil des ans (Jahknow, Ras Coni, Ras Pier, Skeud, Jr Blend ont fait parti du crew à diverses époques) et aujourd'hui le sound se compose de 2 membres: Ras T. (selecta/opérateur/musicien) et Occi (selecta)
Les sessions du Jah Light sont rares (vies de familles et obligations professionnelles passant avant), c'est pourquoi il vous est conseillé de bien guetter vos agendas à fin de ne pas les manquer!!! ;)

Dub Tree :

Dubtree begins his musical career at the age of 19, when starts the project of Earth Resistance Sound System with his friend Robert Souljah. Based in Bergamo, Italy, In few years they made their own sound system, and started to organize many session in different places in the city, calling some of the most known djs and dub producers of the world, like Channel One (UK), Moa Anbessa (IT), The Mighty Jah Observer (JAM), Wassie One (UK), Forelock (IT) and many more. As a producer he move his first steps collaborating with Sista Habesha (IT) for Italian Dub Community project; in 2015 with the label Earth Resistance Records is the time of the first vinyl 12", called "Come and listen" as a result of collaboration with other artists like Robert Souljah (IT), Zion Train (UK), Matic Horns (UK) and The Maat Disciples from Ka Records (FR). After two years he his ready for a second production, the 7" with Sista Awa (IT) called "Money and Pollution", distributed worldwide. During this years, he works a lot on the arrangements and collaborates with spanish based label "Capra Records" and "Kapra Dubplates", making different riddim in many songs, like Far (7"), Mafia (7"), Violin of Peace (7"), Field Marshall (7"). Now based in Lille (FR), he is actually working on his new project, his own label "Dub Tree Music", arranging and mixing some future hits wich will be pressed and distributed very soon.
